AccuGPS LLC ("AccuGPS," "we," "us," or "our") provides GPS tracking hardware, fleet cameras, and the AccuGPS software platform. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information We Collect

Account and contact information: When you create an account, request a demo, or contact support, we collect your name, company name, email address, phone number, and billing address.

Location and vehicle data: Our GPS trackers and OBD II devices collect real-time and historic location data, speed, trip history, idle time, and vehicle diagnostic codes from the vehicles they are installed in.

Camera and video data: Our fleet cameras (including the AccuGPS All-In-One Camera and MDVR system) capture road-facing and driver-facing video and, where enabled, audio. This footage is stored on the device's SD card and, when livestreaming or cloud storage is active, on our servers.

Payment information: Payment card details are processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store full card numbers on our own servers.

Device and usage data: We collect standard technical data from our website and mobile app, such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, using cookies and similar technologies.
How We Use Information
We use the information above to:
- Provide the tracking, camera, and reporting features of the AccuGPS platform
- Process orders, activate hardware, and bill for subscriptions
- Send service notifications, safety alerts, and account communications
- Respond to support requests
- Improve our products and troubleshoot issues
- Meet legal and safety obligations
We do not sell your location or video data to third parties.
Who Can See Vehicle and Driver Data
Location and camera data collected from a vehicle is visible to the business account holder who manages that vehicle (typically a fleet manager or business owner), not to AccuGPS employees, except when needed for support, troubleshooting, or as required by law. If you are a driver and have questions about how your employer uses this data, contact your employer directly.
Sharing Information
We share information with:
- Service providers who help us operate the platform, such as cloud hosting, payment processing, and 4G LTE connectivity providers, under agreements that limit their use of your data
- Law enforcement or regulators, only when required by law or a valid legal request
- A buyer or successor, if AccuGPS is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets
Data Retention
We retain account and location data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Video footage is retained according to your plan's storage settings and is overwritten or deleted on a rolling basis unless you save a clip.
Your Choices
You can:
- Access and update your account information by logging in to the AccuGPS platform at i.accugps.com
- Request a copy of, or deletion of, your personal data by contacting us at info@accugps.com
- Opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in any email we send
Some data cannot be deleted while your service is active, since it is required to operate your account or meet legal retention requirements.
Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
AccuGPS is a business-to-business fleet management product and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the revised policy on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of our products after a change means you accept the update.
